The ethyl Vinyl ether(CH₂=CHOC₂H₅) is a colorless flam mable liquid with active chemical reaction. It is liable to polymerize at liquid phase or gas phase, and polymerizetion inhibitor has been added for industrial application to prevent polymerization. The relative density (d20) of the product is 0.7589, boiling point is 35-36°C, the melting point -115.8°C, the viscosity (at 20°C)point is 201.66, It can be slightly dissolved in water, with the dissolving rate of 0.9 (on weight). The explosion threshold of it in the air is 1.7-28% (in volume).
